Applicants from São Tomé e Príncipe should apply on-line and make an appointment to visit the Visa Application Centre (at the British Embassy) in order to provide biometric data and pay the fee.  However, if you do not wish to wait in Luanda until your application has been processed you have the option to return to Sao Tome and send your passport and supporting documents yourself to the Regional Visa Processing Centre in Pretoria, South Africa.  UKBA staff in Luanda can advise you how to do this at the time of your appointment.
