The British Embassy is seeking talented Angolans to participate in its 2012/13 Chevening Scholarship Programme. Chevening provides a unique opportunity to spend a full academic year at a British university, return home with a Masters qualification and gain a better appreciation of British life and culture.
Chevening is open to outstanding candidates who display the greatest potential to become Angola’s future leaders and decision-makers, whether in government, civil society or the private sector. We advise applicants to make contact with potential UK institutions at the earliest possible stage. Please note that all UK institutions will require your original undergraduate degree certificate (diploma da licenciatura) and undergraduate degree transcript (certificado de notas da licenciatura), with certified translations into English, before offering places on courses. If you do not possess these we advise you to request them from your institution of undergraduate study at the earliest possible stage to avoid disappointment. Please note the Chevening programme will not fund PhD studies and will only fund MBAs in exceptional circumstances.
